Construction

This is a picture of my chassis plate being cut out with a CNC Plasma Cutter the part file was turned into a DXF file to cut on the CNC plasma cutter. After this that holes will be drilled out for mounting the parts on the chassis plate

This is a picture of the suspension and chassis parts mounted to the chassis the three blue parts were 3-D printed at Central Washington University and then they were drilled out to be mounted to the chassis.

in this picture the student has a full assembly of the chassis and suspension portion of the car after this picture was taken the students started assembling the steering and drivetrain portion of the car.

In this picture the student is tapping threads in the part that is going to be mounted up onto the end of the A-arms that are supporting the rear driveshaft. the student had this part printed at the MEC and drilled and tapped the part after the part was printed.

In this photo the student was tapping threads in the side of the A-arms so that the student could munt up the shocks to the side of the a-arms. this was done after the part got 3-D printed at the MEC at the school after the part was printed the student had to drill out the support material in the a-Arms and after this the student could tap the threads.
